Government College of Pharmacy, Karad

Master of Pharmacy : 
A candidate who has passed the B-Pharm science examination of this university or an examination of another university recognised as equivalent there to with at least 60% marks in aggregate in one & same sitting (55% marks in case of SC/NT candidates only) be admitted to the M-Pharm Course.

NOTES : Passing of Entrance Examination viz G.A.T.E. prescribed by AICTE although compulsory for getting the fellowship is not mandatory for admission to M-Pharm course (partly by papers & partly by thesis)

DURATION : The M-Pharm Science course shall be of three semesters duration.

Diploma in Pharmacy
  1. Candidate should pass in any of the following exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with 60% marks in aggregate of above subject.
    a) Intermediate Exam in Science.
    b) The first year of three year degree course in science.
    c) 10 + 2 examination (Academic Stream) in science.
    d) Pre degree examination.
    e) Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of above examination.
     
  2. Duration of Course
    Two academic years of minimum 180 working days each & 500 hours of practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months after completing the course.
      
  3. Minimum marks for passing (Final)
    A student should not be declared to have passed Diploma in Pharmacy Examination unless he/she secures at least 50% marks in each of the subject separately in the Theory examination including sectional marks & at least 50% marks in each of the practical examination including sectional marks.

Bachelor of Pharmacy
A candidate who has passed the XIIth Science examination of this university or an examination of another university recognised as equivalent there to with at least 60% marks in aggregate in one & same sitting (55% marks in case of SC/NT candidates only) be admitted to the B-Pharm Course.

DURATION : The B-Pharm course shall be of four years.
